Artistic set of themes of research

Born in 1962 in Geneva. With follow-up the School of the Art schools of Sion of 1983 and 1985, then Esav of Geneva until 1990. Space COOP, Geneva, watch, in 1988, its work for the first time. The Forum of contemporary art (Sierre), the Space of contemporary art (Lausanne), the Class of the Art schools (Crosnier Room, Geneva), Exit (Lausanne) and the Gallery Ruin (Geneva) since devoted personal exposures to him. Olivier Genoud is interested in the signs associated with the “commodification” with our daily universe. Its recent work borrows images from catalogs of mail-order selling. The artist points in particular the capacity of the latter to multiply the formal variations starting from objects with the functions however clearly circumscribed.
