Olivia Ruiz

Olivia Ruiz is a French singer born on January 1st 1980 with Carcassonne in the Aude. She grew in the village of Marseillette. She is the girl of the musician-singer Didier Blanc, who in particular collaborated with the orchestra of Rene coll.

Biography

Olivia Ruiz takes part in the first Star Academy in 2001. It benefits then from this springboard to enter a recording company, but tries to be detached from the image of the Star Academy. It is named with the Victoires of the music in the category “revelation scene” for its first album.

In 2006, it is nominated in the category Album song/variety of the year , at the sides of artists with success like Bénabar, Raphaël and Alain Souchon.

For its first Individual Paris she contacts the singer Chet who writes 2 titles to him. Impassioned Roald Dahl and Tim Burton, it shares this source of inspiration with Mathias. She will also sing near the Narbonnese group Varda on the album the ways of the wandering .

In spring 2007, Olivia Ruiz takes part in an advertizing campaign for Coca-Cola Light. With the autumn 2007, it creates a range of sticking for the mark Dim.
