Oliver Nelson is a Saxophoniste, Compositeur and Arrangeur of American jazz. It was born with Saint Louis (Missouri) in 1932 and it died in Los Angeles (California) in 1975. Oliver Nelson is above all known like the type-setter of a “standard” of the jazz: " Stolen Moments" (sometimes entitled: " The Stolen Moment"). During its short career, it developed a drunk sound very personal. He worked with many jazzmen of which Jimmy Smith, Thelonious Monk, Wes Montgomery or Eric Dolphy but also for artists very varied like James Brown, The Temptations or Diana Ross. He also composed of the film musics.
