Oligospermy

The oligospermy or oligozoospermy is the presence of Spermatozoïde S in small quantity of (<20 000.000/ml) in the Sperme. It is described as severe when this quantity passes in on this side 5.000.000 of spermatozoa/ml. It is to be distinguished from the Azoospermie which are the complete absence of spermatozoa in the éjaculat and from the Asthénospermie which is the absence of mobility of the spermatozoa.

It is only in this case that it compromises the possibility of procreating. The oligospermy is detected at the time of a Spermogramme which determines the qualitative and quantitative aspects sperm.
