Olga Tañón

Olga Tañón , is a Porto Rican singer of Merengue and more recently of romantic ballades. She was born the April 13rd 1967 with Santurce (Puerto Rico) resulting from a family from middle-class. Its musical career started with the group Shantel from which it will separate a little later to be made known in 1994 as soloist, with the song that will sell llorando , and then Muchacho malo , Basta ya , Me sube there me baja , You amor , Hielo there fuego , Como olvidar , Así are emptied it , Bandolero , etc In 1998, Olga Tañón marries the star Porto Rican of the baseball Juan González. The album has Puro Fuego was nominated as a better album of tropical music to the Latin Billboard Awards 2004 and to Lo Nuestro 2004, and the song Así be emptied it better song tropical with the Latin Billboard Awards 2004 (This one was Reprise again in Salsa by the group Bad Boys Salsa).

Bandolero (in Duo with Jose Shine Morin) was nominated as a better tropical song with the Latin Grammy Awards 2005.
