Olga Samaroff
Olga Samaroff (born Lucy Mary Agnes Hickenlooper ) was a traditional Pianiste, musical Critique E and professor American born the August 8th 1880 with San Antonio with the Texas and deceased the May 17th 1948 with New York.
The leader Leopold Stokowski with which it lived of 1911 to 1923, was its second husband. Stokowski left it for the actress Greta Garbo, which caused a scandal doing the one of the newspapers. Samaroff never given completely of this inaccuracy and took refuge then in the consolation of his/her friends George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Dorothy Parker and Cary Grant.
She taught with the Academy of Philadelphia and in 1924 became member of the faculty of the any news Juilliard School in New York.
Among his most famous pupils, one can note William Kapell, Rosalyn Tureck and Jerome Lowenthal.
