Olenyok
The Olenyok (in Russian Оленёк ) is a 2.292 km long river located in north is Siberia in Asian Russia. It runs on the territory of the area of Krasnoïarsk, of the republic of Sakha (Yakoutie). The river takes its source in the solid mass of central Siberia to approximately 200 km in the north of the small town of Ekonda. A few kilometers further, the U.K. enters the area of Yakoutie: its course follows initially a direction is then north-eastern through the mountains of Siberia. In its lower course it penetrates in the plain of Siberia of North. It flows in the sea of Laptev (Arctic Ocean) to approximately 220 km in the west of the mouth of the principal arm of the Lena. Its delta of 475 km ² is located close to the locality of Bouolkalach.
Olenyok is a full of fish, navigable river starting from Sucha on 965 km. The towns of Olenyok, Souchana, Taimilyr, Sklad, Oust-Olenyok and Bouolkalach are located on its course.
