Olenegorsk
Olenegorsk (in Russian: Оленегорск) is a city of the Oblast de Mourmansk, in the Péninsule of Cola, in Russia. It is located on the Kola river, to 112 km in the south of Mourmansk. Its population rose with: 25166 inhabitants with the census of 2002.
The city was founded in 1916 and obtained the statute of city in 1957. Its economy is founded on the extraction and the preparation iron ore. Olenegorsk is on the principal railway which crosses the Cola peninsula until Mourmansk.
