Oleg Cassini
Oleg Cassini (born the April 11th 1913 with Paris and deceased the March 17th 2006 with New York), is an American designer .
In 1960, he becomes the official dressmaker of Jacqueline Kennedy. It created for her more than 300 dresses, doing of First Lady one of the most elegant women of Washington.
It also equipped with many stars of Hollywood, of which Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe and Gene Tierney which was his wife. Later, Robin Smith was also married in one of her superb dresses, bright of brightness.
Biography
Oleg Cassini was born the April 11th 1913 in a family from the Russian aristocracy . His/her grandfather was the Ambassadeur with the the United States of the Russian empire during the administrations of William McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt.
Raised in Italy, it makes its studies in a British Catholic school before integrating the academy of the Art schools.
It begins its career in clothing in 1933 in the shop from his mother, before flying of its own wings by opening to the same year its own sign to Rome.
In 1936, it settles with New York, and draws clothing for department stores of luxury.
In 1940, it leaves to work with Hollywood for the studios of the 20th Century Fox. It meets there Gene Tierney which it marries thereafter and carries out the seven costumes of its films. They divorce in 1952, but it continues to work for Hollywood until in 1960.
