Oldelaf and Mr D

Oldelaf and Mr D are a humorous group of French song. It describes its works like song " who makes laugh, type foot, hands even in the elbows of the neighbor for less habiles". A group which associates a strong scenic work with costumes always more amusing the ones that the others; and of the very original songs. A childish side in certain melodies, of poetry sometimes and the very rich words always make all the originality of the group.

This group began at the beginning of 2000 following a request of the Ailleurs coffee (which disappeared since). Oldelaf (Olivier Delafosse) and Mr D (Frederic Cloths) knew themselves already a little before and they made a spectacle bringing for the first the musical part and the other a more theatrical side. They renewed the experiment rather often, Oldelaf being also divided with other groups (Small Human the then Fatal Picardy the), Frederic Draps being divided with his trade of sales engineer.

In 2003, they left their first album, at that time only distributed after their concerts (or on their site). Since January 2005, it profits from a national diffusion. The second album left on May 3rd, 2006 and is called: " The album of the maturité".

At the end of 2004, Frederic Draps bade his farewell with the duet. Since, it was replaced by a " nouveau" Mr D, Frederic Vaysse. Like newcomer, Pepito Valdez (Alexandre Zapata, Small Flosses) is also there since 2005 on scene for the musical part. It is the current configuration (two guitars, a Ukulélé and dustbin-bathes).

In 2006, they enter in the Follow turner Me (turner of Supreme Turkeys and Big Mama, inter alia).

In July 2007, at the time of the last concert of the season, the group announced the departure of one of the members (without specifying which) as well as the exit of a DVD. We now know that it is Alexandre Zapata, alias Pépito Valdez who will leave the in December group, leaving room to a new spectacle for the year 2008. The exit of the DVD of their spectacle to the Cicada is hoped for March.
