Presentation

The French federation of the Old Wings gathers several associations and museums which fight to defend the aeronautical inheritance in France. Composed of associations of all sizes, the purpose of the Federation is to support the exchanges and to try to be made hear near the public authorities.

These associations are opened with the public and to the novel members, invite the amateurs to visit them and to even join them in their activities.

Located on the airport platform of Toulouse Blagnac, wedged within the factories Airbus of Colomiers, association gathered since 1980 more than sixty machines among which:

Super Guppy and Super Caravel 10
Of the hunters the such Mirage IIIC, Mig 21, Vulture IIB, Mystery IV,…
Of the apparatuses of legend like F104G Starfighter, the Mig 15, A26 Invader,…
Of the single parts like the Breguet 765 the Sahara (two bridges), the prototype of the Gazelle (SA 340) or F101B Voodoo
Of the helicopters the such Banana (H21), the H34, the Djinn ,…

All these apparatuses will make the richness of the future museum planned for 2010 with Blagnac.

The collection is opened with the public all the year Saturday morning (private individuals), and all the week (groups > 20 people) on reservation.

Born in 1987, the CAEA is today one of most active associations of the Federation. Not satisfies to have a splendid collection (Caravelle, Dassault Mercure, Mirage III and 5, Falcon 20,…), association continues its growth with the recovery of a Canadair CL-215, a Mirage IVP, a Trip hammer and more recently still of a Cessna Push Pull.

It also makes steal a Stampe recently and takes part in very many exposures.
