Charts
It contains several new charts: Araucanie (area of the Chile), the Andes, California, Orénoque, Painted Serves (southern west of the the United States) and Territoires of the North-West (west coast of the North America), Ozarks and Plymouth (charts added by the patch 1.3).
Civilizations
The play contains three new Amerindian civilizations.
These three new civilizations start with 5 villagers. They reveal also the site of all the counters on the chart! Each Amerindian building has a special improvement (military, economic…).

the Iroquois start, in addition to the villagers, with a travois, allowing the free construction of a building (except counter). It is also only Amerindian civilization to have units of artillery.

the Sioux stress the cavalry. The latter makes it possible to create a varied, powerful and resistant army only made up of riders.

the Aztèques start with a warlike priest (being able to accompany the war leader). The Aztec ones fight by the only force of the infantry. As of old III, new units of infantry are available, these last being of a great power.

New buildings

At all the Amerindians:
Hutments are available to age I, allowing the production of soldiers (age II) and the shootings on the enemies. The Amerindians also can, as of age I, to produce a campfire allowing the villagers to produce powerful dances. The farms, constructible as of age I, combine mill and corral of European civilizations.

the Aztec ones:
They have a hut of the nobility (age III), being able to draw from the arrows and to produce powerful warriors.

Sioux:
They can build tipis at the beginning of the play, the latter slightly increasing the points of lives of the units close to this building. The corral allows the creation of riders.

Iroquois:
The huts replace the traditional houses, granting a no-claims bonus of population. A corral (as at the Sioux) is available as of age II. Lastly, starting from age III, Iroquois can build an artillery foundry, being able to produce powerful units of artillery.
Gameplay
The Métropole will be replaced by the tribal council for Amerindian civilizations.
Amerindian civilizations will have the campfire, a new building which makes it possible to have different no-claims bonus while choosing between several dances and while affecting to it of the villagers (with the manner of the Greek temples in Age off Mythology).
Amerindian civilizations will have a war leader in the place of the explorer who will give no-claims bonus to the units neighborhood and will be able to tame the guards of treasures.
European civilizations will have as for them new units (like a boat resembling the merrimack) and the possibility at the imperial age of choosing between new politicians and of causing a revolution. They will be able to also build a Saloon one one will be able to engage of the Mercenaire S as well as an Indian embassy which will make it possible to recruit Indian tribes in condition of having built counters close to their villages.
