Okandé
The Okandé are an ethnos group of the Gabon. Not very many (2000 people according to an estimate of 2003), they lives in the area of Lopé, in the province of Ogooué-Ivindo. Mwiri, male initiatory institution, still play a big role in the social life and traditional nun of Okandé.
According to the classification of the Langues bantoues established by Malcolm Guthrie the mokande-kande belongs to the group of the languages tsogo (B30) and is coded B32.
