Ojos de Brujo

Ojos de Brujo (literally " eyes of sorcier") is a formed group with Barcelona (Spain) in 1996. It is characterized by the fusion of various styles, seeking to reconcile the Flamenco with other musical styles like the Reggae, the Hip-hop, the Rock and the Electronic music.

Biography

The project Ojos de Brujo is born in Barcelona in 1996 after the meeting in jam sessions from several musicians from the scene inhabitant of Barcelona from the moment. It is at these sessions that they compose the songs of their first disc, Vengue , going back to 1999. This one is published, in addition to Spain, in other countries like Belgium, Holland, France, Italy and Germany, ensuring their promotion in festivals through all Europe. The word of mount plays a vital part for the diffusion of the disc, which is sold with forty thousand specimens, including twenty thousand during the first eight months following the exit.

The final formation includes/understands Ramón Giménez, Juanlu, Marina " the canillas" , Xavi Turull, Panko, Sergio Ramos and Maxwell Wright, but always profit from collaborations of all types. In 2001 they break their contract with their Edel recording company, decide to be self-managed and begin the round Abriendo Puertas through all Spain.

The Barí album leaves in 2002 and is produced by Fábrica de Colores , a label which the musicians create and manage for the production and the edition of their own work. This disc will be the signal of their final takeoff to the international level and their promotional round will involve them in festivals in Mexico, Canada, Japan, Colombia, Morocco, Hungary, France, Germany, Holland and Italy inter alia country.

Techarí is their last discographic project, launched on February 20th, 2006.
