According to a person having existed
The character of Oin-Oin has as a model Amédée-Célestin Rossillon, wire of Jacques and Joséphine Burdallet, a Ouvrier born in 1852 with Carouge (Geneva), left to work like Horloger with La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1878, in various companies. He held his Surnom in his manner of saying " Yes " , that " was heard; oin" - a elocution due to a harelip which it hid by a Moustache. One in addition lends to this amateur wormwood and of Bière a rather impressive descent as soon as it is about alcohol.
Rossillon marries on February 11th, 1888 at the 36 years age the restorer Anna-Barbara Sauser born Ruprecht, widow of Daniel. In its trousseau, it brings an armchair, bringing a clock to him to the household. The union however remained sterile. The Homme dies out in 1923 with the asylum of Vessy with Veyrier.
