Ohloh

Ohloh is a Web site which Catalog the Projet S Open source and provides purely objective information on the latter, mainly by the means of an statistical analysis of the deposits of source code. It was rested by former heads of Microsoft, Jason Allen and Scott Collision, in 2004.

The site provides, inter alia, information following on many open projects source: exact License, size of the source code, activity of the project, many contributors, etc To the June 5th 2007, Ohloh reference 5482 open projects source.

One can appreciate this effort of objectivity allowing the community to find itself there in the immense panel of the projects and solutions open source, thanks to the information stripped of any form of bias, and listed in a quite precise format, independent of the themselves projects.
