Oglio

The Oglio is a Rivière Italy 280 km length, tributary of left bank of the Po, which runs in the area of Lombardy.

Oglio is formed by the junction close to the hamlet of Pezzo di Ponte di Legno of two Torrent S, Narcanello, resulting from the Glacier from Presena, and Frigidolfo, emissary of the Lac of Ercavallo, in the National park of Stelvio. These two torrents are born on the slopes from Corno dei Tre Signori, in the Alps Orobiques, at an altitude of approximately 2600 m. This area belongs to the National park of Stelvio and corresponds to the area of the Val Camonica.

Between Lovere and Pisogne, it emerges in the Lac of Iseo of which it arises close to Sarnico, before joining the plain of Po after having crossed a morainic delivery point .

Oglio is thrown in Po with Torredoglio, not far from Cesole and of Scorzarolo, in the Province of Mantoue.

Its catchment area covers a surface of 6  649 km ².
