Alix of Champagne (1195 † 1246) girl of Henri II of Champagne, king de Jérusalem, and of Isabelle of Jerusalem.
She married in 1210 Hugues Ier king de Chypre and had:
- Marie de Lusignan († 1252), married in 1233 with the count Gautier IV of Brienne (1200 † 1244)
- Isabelle de Lusignan († 1264), married in 1233 with Henri of Poitiers-Antioche († 1276)
- Henri Ier de Lusignan (1217 † 1253), king de Chypre
With died of her husband, it was named regent, but rather odd princess, and not having neither the direction, nor the taste of the capacity, left regency to her uncle Philippe d' Ibelin.
It withdrew in 1223 in Syria and married in 1224 Bohémond V of Antioche, from which it separated in 1227. It remaria then with Raoul de Couevre de Soissons.
In 1232, the barons overcame the forces of Frederic II, Germanic emperor and king de Jérusalem. They established a collegial government, in the name of the last kings Hohenstaufen, even if those never came out of Holy Land. Alix was then entitled regent of Jerusalem , but without exerting the least power.
