The Bureau of the ombudsman of the Town of Quebec is the institution which constitutes the ultimate authority of recourse of the citizen in the event of litigation with the Town of Quebec.
This office consists of 20 police chiefs solved by the Municipal council, that is to say 10 women and 10 men.
Traditionally, the president of the police chiefs must be unanimously selected by the Municipal council of Quebec. In this moment, this station is occupied by Claire the Happy-Dubé.
