Office of the civil aviation and the airports

The Office of the civil aviation and the airports (OACA) is a company Tunisia of public Droit related to commercial industrial and. It replaces, the June 30th 1998, the Office of the air ports of Tunisia (OPAT) created the July 3rd 1970.

Under the supervision of the ministry for transport, the OACA is charged to manage the airports of Tunis, Monastir, Jerba, Tozeur, Sfax, Tabarka and Gafsa.

Missions

The office is in charge of the following missions:
  • exploitation, the installation and the development of the airports as well as the achievement of all the operations and services necessary for the travellers, the public, the Plane S, the Freight and the mail
  • the regional and local control of the Aerial navigation and the participation in the execution of the safeguard and research plans
  • the delivery of all the requested documents for the aeronautical personnel, the planes and the aerial navigation in accordance with the legislation in force
