Office of the United Nations against drug and the crime

The Office of the United Nations against drug and the crime or UNODC (of English United Nations Office one Drugs and Crime ) is a body of the Secrétariat of the United Nations based with the Office of the United Nations in Vienna in Austria.

The Executive director of the UNODC is the Italian Antonio Maria Costa. Established in 1997, the UNODC more than 500 people employed in the HQ with Vienna and throughout the world. Approximately 90% of its budget come from the gifts of the governments.

The role of the UNODC and to help of the Member States in their fight against the Drug, the Crime and the Terrorism. One of the goals of the Objectifs of the millenium for the development is to fight the crime.

The Ambassadeurs of good will to the UNODC include: Tetsuya Komuro, Eduardo Nájera, Vlade Divac, Khodadad Azizi, Hidetoshi Nakata and Tit Hilario.
