Of lava and sap is the 5ère album studio of the singer Elsa Lunghini. It makes following the album, Each day is a long way, left in 1996.

Indeed, after many years far away from the scene and the French variety, Elsa returns in April 2004 with this album while signing at Mercury.
On this album, Elsa was surrounded inter alia Benjamin Biolay, Keren Ann, Asher Ash or Etienne Daho which lends its voice on the title gold and dust .
It also took part in the writing of many titles of which the second extract of this 5ère opus studio: has what that serves .
Le first extract was My love , illustrated by a clip inspired of horror films of the years 1920 like Nosferatu. For this clip, Elsa accepted a price of interpretation to the International festival of Arts of the Clip in 2004.

Cet album includes/understands 12 titles but a 13ère title was available thanks to the new system Opendisc: a desire .

It will also make it possible Elsa to return alone on scene in September 2005, with the European of Paris, concert who is available on his album Connection Live.
