Of Papous in the head

Of Papous in the head is a radio program, of France Culture, diffused midday Sunday, created in 1984 by Bertrand Jerome. In week this emission had, until 2004, a daily prolongation: the emission " Décraqués ".

They are radio games and literary, even impertinent, poetic, often invented by Bertrand Jerome, sometimes by a participant. Proposals of the Oulipo, of which number of its members intervened in the emission - initiated besides with Georges Perec - are a paramount inspiration as well as the Grands Rhetoriqueurs, the Surréalistes, Jean Tardieu. Diffused emission remotely, a long time recorded in studio by " the tailor of son" Yann Paranthoën, and from large size, 70 to 90 minutes according to the years. For some time, two or three times per annum, a session in public are recorded in a big city.

Jean-Claude Vannier composed the greatest part of it of the musical envelope, put aside the convenient choice of songs interludes.

The emission is currently animated, of 12:45 to 14:00, by Francoise Treussard, only after retirement forced of Bertrand Jerome (deceased the July 19th 2006).
