Odysséas Androútsos

Odysséas Androútsos (in Greek Οδυσσέας Ανδρούτσος , known as sometimes Dysséas (1790 - 1825) was a hero of the Guerre of Greek independence.

He was the son of a Klephte celebrates, Andréas Androútsos. He entered initially to the service of Ali Pasha de Janina before rejoining the Greek insurrection. He illustrated himself by his bravery and his military engineering. He thus gained the “battle of the khan of Gravia” in May 1821.

At the time of the civil wars during the Greek revolution, it was fears policies because it was admired of the people. It was shown to have made a pact with the Turks. It was stopped by Yannis Gouras.

He was assassinated on the Acropole of Athens.
