Odontophoridae
The family of the odontophoridés (or Odontophoridae ) includes/understands the 32 species of hakes and Tocro S, terrestrial birds rather small (from 17 to 37 cm); their body is compact, the strong legs and the short wings.
One meets them in America, of the the United States to the Argentine. They live in the tropical forests, subtropical and moderated, like in edge of the wooded areas, in the Savane S and the arable lands, of the sea level up to 3.300 m of altitude.
