Odon (river)
The Odon is a river Norman of the Calvados, affluent of the Orne.
The river is born with Ondefontaine, in the wood of Buron, on the heights of the north of the Bocage virois, near the source of the Druance which, it, is directed towards the south. Long with 47 km, Odon Aunay-on-Odon sprinkles, joins Ajon with the Locheur, runs according to a North-eastern direction during the major part of its course before joining the Orne with Caen, left bank, by several arms, whose main thing, passing to the foot Château of Caen and Saint-Pierre church, was covered by the current Leclerc boulevards and with Alliés in 1860. The lock of the Saint-Pierre basin of constituent Caen thus the historical confluence of Odon and the Flowering ash.
