  • 1967 ( Formula 1 ): While gaining, at the wheel of its Lotus - Climax, GP of Mexico of Formula 1, the Scottish pilot Jim Clark - with 24 victories - the record of the number of victories in Grand Prix equalizes, bench ten years earlier by the quintuple Argentinian world champion Juan Manuel Fangio.
  • 1989 ( Formula 1) : The duel at the top between the two fellow-members of McLaren - Honda Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna for the attribution of the title of world champion of Formula 1 turns short, at the time of GP of Japan, on the Circuit of Suzuka.
