The Mois of October is the tenth Gregorian month of the calendars and Julien.
Its name comes from the Latin october (of octo , eight) because it was the eighth month of old the Roman Calendrier.
The Révolution of October began in 1917 the October 25th (sometimes also called red October ) of the Calendrier Julien (used in the Russian orthodoxe tradition), that is to say the 7 November Gregorian Calendrier.
In the majority of the countries or areas of the Northern Hemisphere which apply the Summer-time, last Sunday of October is that of the passage per hour of winter, i.e. the return to the normal hour of the time zone. In certain countries or areas of the Southern hemisphere, this same Sunday is that of the passage to the Summer-time.
In the Catholic religion, October is dedicated to Notre-Dame of the Rosary and the Guardian angels.
