Octavia Thurina Major or simply Octavia Major was the girl of the governor and Roman senator Gaius Octavius of his first wife, Ancharia . She was also the half-sister of Octave, the future emperor Auguste and of Octavia Thurina Minor. One knows little thing about it, if it is not the fact that it lived with I er Plutarque declares about it, that it was admirable and beautiful woman.
