Octahédrite
The octaédrites are a class of the Météorite S of Fer and Nickel. Typically made up of Alloy S of iron to nickel: taenite - of iron to nickel with the high contents and the kamacite of nickel - of iron to nickel with the low nickel contents. A nickel phosphide of iron, Schreibersite, is present in some meteorites of iron at nickel as well as iron a nickel cobalt carbide, Cohenite. Once polished and the acid engraved with the etching the traditional lines of Widmanstätten, the intersected model of the intersecting lines of the lamellate kamacite, are obvious.
The octaédrite is also an obsolete synonym for the Anatase, an oxide ore of Titane.
