Ochancourt

Ochancourt is a common French, located in the department of the Somme and the area Picardy.

Its inhabitants is called the Ochancourtois and the Ochancourtoises .

Geography

History

The ground of the tombs, located on the territory of the common mark, says one, the place where combatants were buried having taken part in the battle of Saucourt gained by the king of the Francs, Louis III, and his army against the Norman ones into 879. Gaston VASSEUR ( Nibas and its appendices ), teach us that it was also the place where the two armies met. The Norman ones would have left 9000 as of theirs on the battle field!
