Ocelot revolver

Revolver Ocelot is a Personnage of video game in the series Metal GEAR . It makes its appearance in Metal GEAR Solid , Metal GEAR Solid 2: Sounds off Liberty , Metal GEAR Solid 3: Snake Eater and in Metal GEAR Solid 4: Guns off the Patriots .

It was born on June 6th, 1944. It is named also Ocelot , Shalashaska , Adamska , and Liquid Ocelot .

Revolver Ocelot is a recurring character, he is besides the only character with being present in all the episodes of the series Metal GEAR Solid (however, no character appears in all the episodes of the saga Metal GEAR ).

Revolver Ocelot is a specialist in the interrogation and a gunner out-par. It is also old a Russian Spetsnaz which was useful during the Soviet invasion of the Afghanistan. Period during which it was shown like a Sadique and which one called it Shalashaska (synonymous with Prison in Russian).

Revolver Ocelot is a fan of westerns spaghettis, from where its code name, its style vestimentary and it is also why its weapon of predilection is the revolver Single Action Army.

This character is inspired by the actor Lee Van Cleef who played in particular in the films the Good, the Rough one and the Gangster and in New York 1997 .

History

Revolver Ocelot was born on June 6th, 1944 from mother The Joy (The Boss) and from father The Sorrow. His/her mother is confined on the battle fields whereas it takes part in the unloading.

Ocelot is very quickly removed with his/her mother by the Philosophe S. It is the colonel Volgin member of GRU, the military intelligence service directly affiliated with the ministry for the Soviet defense, which will raise it in the place of his/her parents. However, Ocelot will always work for the Philosophers.

Operation Snake Eater

At 20 years, Ocelot is already member of the Spetsnaz with the rank of major and he is the leader of his own group of combat, the unit of elite “Ocelot”. However, he plays the part of a breaker of code of NSA having betrayed the United States on behalf of the KGB under the name of code “ADAM” but always works for the CIA and the American branch of the Philosophers. Its mission being of finding the heritage of the Philosophers with the assistance of The Boss.

During the Verteuse Mission, it was to meet The Boss which infiltrated the rows of Volgin but it met Naked Snake whose mission was to bring back the scientist Nikolai Stephanovich Sokolov on the Western side. During the confrontation, Snake taken the top on Ocelot and the members of his group. It then pointed out to him that it should use a revolver instead of an automatic pistol.

One week later, during the operation Snake Eater, Ocelot meets Naked Snake again. This time Ci, Ocelot fights with an Individual Colt Army Action whose stick is engraved. Once more, Snake manages to control Ocelot. He explains to him whereas engraving does not offer any tactical advantage to him. Since this moment, the weapon of predilection of Ocelot is the Individual Colt revolver Army Action.

Before the end of the operation, Snake and Ocelot met again on several occasions. It seems that Ocelot started to bind friendship with Snake at that time although he is accidentally at the origin of the wound which made it one-eyed.

Metal Solid GEAR: Portable Ops

In 1970, it is Ocelot which then recovers the other part of the heritage in possession of the CIA. Indeed, it approaches the director of it whereas this one was going to be protected from supposed nuclear attack which was going to take place against the Pentagon, and kills it like all its men, making pass the murder for a suicide. Ocelot then takes the bag of this last which contains the site of the funds of the heritage, as well as the names of the Philosophers. The incident on the island of Shadow Moses

In 1991, Ocelot leaves Russia to join the group Fox Hound, applicant that the new mode displeases to him.

After the incident, Ocelot is made graft the right-hand man of Liquid Snake (by a French surgeon of Lyon), then sells on the black-market of the data on the Metal GEAR which it had succeeded in stealing.

It is interesting to notify that in this episode Vulcan Raven names it " the Ivan" general; , still a proof that ocelot has multiple names.

The shipwreck of the Tanker

Ocelot, always combined with Sergei Gurlukovich assembles an operation in order to steal the new prototype of Metal American GEAR RAY to the navy which transports it in boat. He always claims to do it on behalf of Russia, but right before taking possession of Metal GEAR, he reveals his treason with Gurlukovich and kills it.

It is learned at this time that Liquid Snake tries to take the control of the spirit of Ocelot. Plus-tard will be learned that Liquid Snake (locked up in the right-hand man of Ocelot) cannot appear and take control of the spirit of Ocelot only in the presence of Solid Snake.

The revolt on Big Shell

During the revolt on Big Shell, Ocelot helps apparently Solidus Snake in its combat against the Patriotes, the group which has truly the capacity and control on the US government. However, Ocelot reveals at the end that all this revolt had been fomented by the Patriots, in order to gather data to create a simulation making it possible to involve future soldiers, and to make them as gifted as was to it Solid Snake. Whereas Ocelot is on the point of erasing the last remaining evidence (Solidus Snake, Solid Snake, Raiden, and Fortune), Liquid Snake manages to take the control of its spirit. It leaves then with Metal GEAR with an aim of eliminating the Patriots.

Conclusion

Ocelot is thus a character diablement intelligent who unceasingly manages to handle everyone. It is however in lower part of the Patriots, with which it seems completely devoted. He did not know the true significance of the plan “S3”. Believer that this last meant “Simulation of Solid Snake” whereas in fact, that means “Selection for the Mental health of the Company”. The fact that they left it being unaware of on this blow perhaps shows their mistrust towards him, following its double personality.
