Oblast de Iaroslavl
The oblast of Iaroslavl (in; ) is a federal subject of Russia (Oblast) in the central federal District, surrounded of the oblasts of Tver, of Moscow, Ivanovo, Vladimir, Kostroma and Vologda.
This geographical location favors the oblast of Iaroslavl, from its proximity of Moscow and Saint-Pétersbourg. Moreover, the administrative center of the oblast, the town of Iaroslavl, is a crossroads of highways, major water railways and ways.
