Obihiro
Obihiro (帯広市; - shi) is a city located on the island of Hokkaidô at the Japan. In 2006, the city had a population of 171.612 inhabitants and a density of 277,18 hab/km ². Total surface area of the east city of 618,94 km ².
The city was founded on April 1st 1933.
The city shelters the general headquarter of the 5th division of the army of the north of the terrestrial force of self-defense of the Japanese army.
The municipal symbols are the Skylark and the Bouleau.
