Oaled Sant Erwan

Oaled Sant Erwan is a Breton-speaking catholic hearth.

Create in 1969 by Youenn Souffes-Després and his/her Alan brother, in the district of St Martin to Brest it is a Christian hearth Breton-speaking which was managed of 1994 to 1998 by Ivona Martin and Tepod Gwilhmod.

Its objective is to create a social link into Breton in a district of Brest by courses for children and adults, of the masses into Breton, the pilgrimages in the bus. The Catéchisme was taught into Breton as well sure.

DARE also contributed, only on the ground before SKED does not exist, with the promotion of the Breton language downtown by making translations for tradesmen, by affixing bilingual panels, by questioning the elected officials, by distributing leaflets and by affixing posters, of 1969 to 1998 in Brest.

She proposed a very complete library, today property of Emglev An Tiegezhioù . This center was useful, with its small means to cause and form many militants and sympathizers of the Breton language during 30 years.
