OJ Guen
OJ Guen , born in 1947 with Brest, is a sailor Breton who illustrated himself in oceanic crossings with the oar.
Originating in the island in Molène, wire, grandson, grandson of sea fishermen, it postpones took part in ten crossings of the Atlantic to the veil including 2 as a recluse.

In 1995, on the traces of Gerard d' Aboville, it crosses the Atlantic Ocean in 103 days in the direction East/Western as a recluse to the oar and without assistance.

In 1997, it rows in duet with Pascal Blond, former prisoner and rejoins the Canary islands with Barbados in 49 days.

In 2000, it tries to join the Cape Horn on the basis of the New Zealand while rowing as a recluse without assistance. But the April 3rd, it gives up after 60 days, in the middle of its course, and is recovered by the Chilean navy . In perdition on its boat, he suffers from serious wounds to the feet which will require the amputation of the toes.

OJ Guen always undertook its exploits with an aim of defending of the convictions ecologists, as his crossing missed of the Pacifique on its boat Keep it blue of the name of the ecological association which it animates. Since, OJ Guen took the ways of the policy by leading the list of PRG in the district " Ouest" with the European elections in 2004. It takes part in the transatlantic race GUYANA OARS on a boat called: " The man or the market. 2007: the hour of the choix" to contribute to federate around an single-candidate election representing the anti-liberal forces for the presidential election 2007.
