OJ Gerard is a Belgian Historien born in 1919 and deceased on January 15th, 2006. It is graduate the University of Louvain but exerted the functions of journalist, and of historian popularizer and large in favor of the unit of Belgium, it had written a hundred works on the Belgian history.

OJ Gerard had adhered a time to the movement rexist in his youth. It had however quickly outdistanced movement founded by Leon Degrelle. It signed besides articles in Libre Belgique clandestine under the Occupation, and carried out missions for the network Socrate.

Enthusiastic royalist, resulting from a very preserving medium, fundamentally anticommunist, he was a member of most active in the drafting of Europe magazine , a magazine diffusing the thoughts and the memories of the European nationalist authors, in particular the authors of intellectual collaborations with the armies hitlériennes.

Always in this line reactionary, OJ Gerard was also an enthusiastic militant of association Louis XVI Belgium , a Maurassienne league Belgian, antilaïque and unparliamentary, follower of the celebration of against Vendean revolutionists. This association was - during the Nineties - one of the most dedicated collaborator of Belgian Front National
