Nymphaeales

The order of the nymphéales ( Nymphaeales ) is an order of primitive plants Angiospermes.

In traditional classification of Cronquist (1981) it includes/understands five family S:

In the phylogenetic classification APG II (2003), there does not exist, but the order accepts it.

It included/understood initially two families (May 24th, 2006):

  • order Nymphaeales
* family Cabombaceae
* family Nymphaeaceae

Later (April 23rd, 2007), it includes/understands three families:

  • order Nymphaeales
* family Cabombaceae
* family Hydatellaceae
* family Nymphaeaceae
