Nyanza

Nyanza is a city of the Rwanda, located at about thirty kilometers in the north of Butare and at a hundred kilometers in the south of Kigali. Since the administrative reform of 2006, it gives its name to a district which shelters in its sector of Busasamana, the chief town of the Province of the south of Rwanda. This reform in addition allowed this city important for the history of Rwanda pre-republican to recover his old name " royal" of Nyanza , transformed a time into Nyabisindu . Nyanza was indeed the last main home of the " Monarchy " '' abami '' banyiginya .
The city shelters the museum of the house of the mwami and one of the four detached rooms of the High court of the Republic.
