Nyírbátor
Nyírbátor is a historical and picturesque small town of Hungary in the department Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg, still keeping traces of the architecture of the XVeme and XVIeme century. It was under the crook of several families of lords, the Báthory, the Bethlen, the Rakoczy or the Karoly, of which strongest was well that of Báthory.
History
One speaks for the first time about Nyirbator in a document about 1279, his name probably deriving from a Hungarian hero of the area. At that time, the ancestors of Bathori were already the owners of the village, until in 1613, with the arrival Gabriel Báthory, lord Transylvanian, who gives to the family his noble letters.In XVe century, second Báthory, Etienne, set up two medieval churches with Nyirbator. Today, one can as admire splendid a church Protesting E, with the Italian influences, container Oratoire and burial, and in particular a very beautiful network of Ogive S crossed, as the stained glasses still illuminate, in a Gothic style late.
XVIe century Nyírbátor plays a part of importance in the history of Hungary: in 1549 the emperor Ferdinand Ier concludes the Convention from Nyirbator with the Transylvanian sovereigns. Will follow a few quiet decades, handing-over later causes some by the influence of the Transylvanian princes and the controversies on the borders.
Since, the city did not cease being impoverished, until in 1872 where an important administrative reform has spillplate the situation of the village. From 1973, the village opens regularly in the world and after a fashion tries to survive.
Today the city opened on the modern world, with tourism of quality, many festivals recognized nationally and internationally, and especially the technological pole of engineering and data processing MSK, with a factory of 7 hectares employing nearly 200 people, ramified in France and Germany.
