Nvu
Nvu (deciding n-view , which is a term English) is a Free software WYSIWYG of creation of Web pages based on Composing it of Mozilla and technology XUL (like Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird). Let us note that it is also possible to publish the contents of the page via its source code, in the interface.
It is developed by Daniel Glazman, former employee of Netscape since having founded its own company, Disruptive Innovations.
Nvu wants to be simple and usable by a beginner without knowledge of the languages HTML or CS. Code HTML produced by Nvu wants to be clean and respectful recommendations of W3C.
The development of Nvu is sponsored by Linspire, which thus hopes in the long term to have an editor HTML able to compete with Microsoft Frontpage or Adobe Dreamweaver in its Distribution Linux.
The software was published in version 1.0, the June 28th 2005. This one is available for Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows and Linux, in 9 languages. Nvu is not published nor not supported by the Mozilla foundation.
