Nuzi
Nuzi (or Nuzu ) was a city of the ancient Mésopotamie located at the south-west of Kirkuk in the current Iraq, close to the Tigre. This name is that which it carries to III. Previously, it was known under the name of Gasur .
With the time akkadienne, the city was known under the name of Gasur , but towards 1 500 av. J. - C., the Hourrites occupied the city, changed its name into Nuzu, built a community thrives and made an important administrative center of it.
