Numerical campus of Brazzaville

The French-speaking numerical Campus of the university Agency of the francophonie, with Brazzaville (Republic of Congo), called CNFBrazza, was inaugurated by Mr Henri Ossebi, Ministre for Higher education and academic and Mrs Gendreau-Massaloux, Recteur of the AUF, on March 7th, 2006. It is established within the University Marien Ngouabi.

Technological fulcrums for the university and scientific community of the South, the numerical campuses are drawn up within the institutions members.

They aim at developing the use of new technologies in the universities of the South and to facilitate the access to the students of them, with the teachers, like with the researchers of these areas. The campuses provide to the latter the necessary tools which will enable them to integrate the Internet in their practices of work.

By opening access points in the areas of the South, the university Agency wants to privilege the development of the establishments of these areas while enabling them to adapt new technologies of information and the communication.

This network of establishments also takes part in the reinforcement of the multilateral co-operation between the universities. The campuses are managed jointly by the AUF and the university of reception within a council of orientation.
