Nuku Hiva

Nuku Hiva (sometimes called island Merchant ) is a island located in the archipelago of the Marchionesses in French Polynésie.

This one is the chief town of the Marchionesses as well as common of Nuku Hiva. It is largest islands of the Marquesas Islands with a surface of 387 km ², its population is of 2.652 inhabitants. The culminating point is the Tekao mount with 1.224 meters and the village principal Taiohae (965 hab).
