Description
The power station is equipped with only one ebullient water reactor (REB) built by General Electric:- Vermont Yankee : 535 MWe, brought into service in 1972 per 40 years (2012).
The power station of Vermont Yankee belongs to Entergy Nuclear Vermont Yankee LLC , subsidiary of the group Entergy and it makes it possible to answer approximately 35% energy needs of the state of Vermont. It provides nearly the three quarters of its needs in electricity.
