Nuclear plant of Saint-Alban
The nuclear plant of Saint-Alban is localized in Isere on the edge of the the Rhone to 50 km downstream from Lyon, on the communes of the Saint-Alban-of-Rhone and Saint-Maurice-the Exil.
For the cooling from its two Nuclear reactors, the power station uses the water of the the Rhone.
Approximately 670 people work in Saint-Alban.
Seismic risk
