Nuclear plant of Leningrad
The Nuclear plant of Leningrad (Russian ЛенинградскаяАЭС) is located 80 km at the west of Saint-Petersbourg at the edge of the Golfe of Finland. The power station is known also under the name of Sosnovy Bor.
Description
The power station is equipped with four engines RBMK -1000 of type TF U-graphite (tubes of force U-graphite):- Leningrad 1 : brought into service in 1973,
- Leningrad 2 : brought into service in 1975,
- Leningrad 3 : brought into service in 1979,
- Leningrad 4 : brought into service in 1981.
The owner-owner is the government enterprise Rosenergoatom.
