Nuclear plant of Hope Creek
The nuclear plant of Hope Creek is located close to the Hancocks bridge in the New Jersey on the same site as the two engines of the Nuclear plant of Salem.
Description
This power station is equipped with an ebullient water reactor (REB) built by General Electric:- Hope Creek : 1120 MWe, brought into service in 1986 per 40 years (2026).
The single owner is PSEG Nuclear LLC which is also the operating one.
The engine of Hope Creek is one of the four production units of nuclear power of the New Jersey, the others are:
- 2 engines of the Nuclear plant of Salem,
- the engine of the Nuclear plant of Oyster Creek.
