Nuclear Assault

Nuclear Assault is a group of Thrash American metal formed with New York in 1985 by the bass player daN Lilker, who played then within Anthrax and which was in the search of sound feelings even more aggressive, and the singer John Connelly, who had also made a short passage within Anthrax.

Whereas with beginning of the year 80, the thrash metal is dominated by its founders groups all originating in California (Metallica, Exodus, Testament, Megadeth, Slayer), Nuclear Assault belongs to the first to emerge from New York at the sides of Overkill and Anthrax.

Its music is a mixture of hardcore and Thrash metal one cannot intense any more. Its first 2 albums " Over" range; in 1986 and " Survive" in 1988 are regarded as references in their style.

Through the extreme violence of their music and their texts, the musicians express their dislike of the policy and the established order, but also make show a rather corrosive humor, testifies the satirical piece to it " Butt Fuck" in homage to the group glam Mötley Raw.

They separate in 1993, whereas daN Lilker, in permanent research of ultimate musical violence, already left formed Brutal Truth.

The group is reformed in 2002 with the Line-up of origin for the exit of an album live entitled " Alive Again". Then in 2005 leaves finally a new album studio baptized " Third World Genocide".

Lilker with also taken part in project S.O.D with scott and charlie (carbuncle) and billy milano of M.O.D. " Stormtrooper off death" is a project exclusively studio, no date is not envisaged. 14 years later " leaves; bigger the devil" with enormous rounds being completed in Japan.
