Nozzle (saxophone)

A nozzle is the part of the Saxophone supporting the Anche and which one fixes on the bottle . It can be in ebonite or Métal (and also, in a rarer way, in Bois, plastic or Verre), with a binding making it possible to fix and maintain the sheer .
The saxophone agrees with the other instruments while slightly making vary the depression of the nozzle (flexible thanks to cork surrounding the end of the bottle). The more the nozzle is inserted, the more the sound is acute and conversely, the less it is it, the more the sound is serious. The depression of the nozzle causes to modify the length of the airstream. The lengthening of that if allows a more serious sound.
